$2 Trillion Stimulus Deal Reached Between White House and Senate Regarding COVID-19

It seems that people are coming together in the midst of this current health pandemic. Wednesday morning, the United States’ White House and Senate have come to a major agreement for a $2-trillion package to help put energy back into the coronavirus-scared economy.

Both Republicans and Democrats worked hard to make this historic deal happen:

“We have a deal,” McConnell said from the Senate floor. “At last, we have a deal. After days of intense discussions, the Senate has reached a bipartisan agreement on a historic relief package for this pandemic.”

He further stated, “a war-time level of investment for our nation.”

The full details have yet to be released.

But CNN reports, that since yesterday, the proposal has been made sharper, zeroing on supporting Americans’ needs; $250 billion set aside for direct payments to individuals and families, $350 billion in small business loans, $250 billion in unemployment insurance benefits and $500 billion in loans for distressed companies.
