According to confirmed reports, a round table conference about the sudden impact of the coronavirus scheduled for tomorrow in New York was canceled due to the rapid spread of the virus.
The Council On Foreign Relations has canceled its “Doing Business Under Coronavirus” conference in NYC and other in-person conferences in NYC, Washington as well as other national events between March 11 and April 3.
CFR is joining a long list of groups whose events are being canceled or postponed well in advance due to the sudden outbreak. The five boroughs are under a watchful eye because of the intermediate outbreak in the New York suburb of New Rochelle, where the National Guard will be deployed in order to close public gathering places.
