Mike Bloomberg Suspends Presidential Campaign, Endorses Joe Biden

As the great Shawn Carter said “Grand Opening, Grand Closing.”

Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg has suspended his presidential campaign after spending over $700 million in ads and then flopping on Super Tuesday only winning delegates from American Samoa territory, Fox News reports.

After Bloomberg called it quits he announced an endorsement of former Vice-President Joe Biden who political analysts are describing his comeback on Super Tuesday to be to levels of the Cavs recovering after being down 3-1.

“I’m a believer in using data to inform decisions. After yesterday’s results, the delegate math has become virtually impossible – and a viable path to the nomination no longer exists. But I remain clear-eyed about my overriding objective: victory in November,” Bloomberg said in his statement.

Bloomberg would go on to endorse Biden by saying: “I’ve known Joe for a very long time. I know his decency, his honesty, and his commitment to the issues that are so important to our country – including gun safety, health care, climate change, and good jobs.”

Biden would reply “This race is bigger than candidates and bigger than politics. It’s about defeating Donald Trump, and with your help, we’re gonna do it.”

After he caught wind of Bloomberg bowing out, President Trump increased his mockery of the former mayor who he calls “Mini Mike.”

While Trump states that you can’t buy an election, Bloomberg stated he has another bag to throw behind whoever the candidate is in efforts to bounce Trump come November.
