[WATCH] Nick Cannon On Monogamy: It’s Not Natural For Men

Nick Cannon sat down for a chat with reality star Evelyn Lozada on his show “Nick Cannon Mornings” on Power 106. During their candid conversation about relationships, Cannon told her that men don’t believe in monogamy because they don’t feel it’s in their DNA. Cannon said he loves the romantic side and the whimsical aspect of love but once a woman wants to live together he gets scared.

The ex-husband to singer Mariah Carey revealed he couldn’t subscribe to the idea of relationships and monogamy because it isn’t an natural idea for men.
Lozada then shared that she has always been the opposite. “I love structure. I love being with one person, and unfortunately, it hasn’t worked out because that person didn’t love being with one person,” she told the radio host. Cannon responded, “Men don’t subscribe to monogamy because they feel like it’s not natural in their DNA. It’s that hunting mentality, but it’s also like ‘yo if we suppose to be fruitful and multiply…. there’s not many creatures on earth that are monogamous.”

She replied that she believes some men like the idea of relationships to which the “Wild N Out” host interjected that those are old men.

Nick also said the only reason Evelyn would like a relationship is that she likes the idea of “owning somebody and saying ‘this is mine.’”
