Calvin Harris reveals new feature with The Weeknd, 'Over Now'

Recently, The Weeknd notched another major win with his virtual Tik Tok concert experience, adding to a 2020 track record that already includes multiple charting tracks on what has proven to be a contender for album of the year with After Hours. During “The Weeknd Experience” Tik Tok concert, the Canadian crooner debuted a new, nameless tune that has left fans anxiously anticipating more new material from the “Blinding Lights” singer. Now the new track’s name may have just been revealed—by none other than Calvin Harris.

“Over Now” was revealed on Harris’ Instagram, and is rumored to be included on the superstar Scottish producer’s upcoming album. However, it is worth considering that as of now there’s no indication that “Over Now” isn’t the latest contribution to Harris’ Love Regenerator catalog, aside from the track’s smooth, retro aesthetic. If this new joint effort with The Weeknd is in fact a Calvin Harris cut, it would be his first since 2019’s Rag ‘n’ Bone Man feature, “Giant” in January of 2019. No official word on when the collaboration will officially see the light of day—though something tells us it might be sooner rather than later.
