Gesaffelstein to release Los Angeles live performance from 2019 'REQUIEM' tour

Gesaffelstein has announced the release of his Los Angeles live performance from the “REQUIEM” tour. The Dark Prince of Techno shared the news on Tuesday, June 9 via social media, with no further details other than “Online Soon.” The impending footage will showcase Gesaffelstein’s Shrine Expo Hall show from his 2019 US tour.

The French artist’s “REQUIEM” spectacle succeeded a momentous return to Coachella, where the enigmatic producer historically employed the usage of Vantablack VBx2 for his black hole-rendering setup. He proceeded to tour in support of his feverishly-anticipated sophomore LP, Hyperion, after stealing the spotlight as one of the biggest comebacks of the year. Since then, the Columbia behemoth has unveiled a six-track EP, NOVO SONIC SYSTEM and a remix of ROSALÍA‘s “A Palé.”

Gesaffelstein is slated to perform in France at Paris AccorHotels Arena on Saturday, October 3.
