Grum rings in decade milestone of debut LP, 'Heartbeats' with re-release and two new remixes

Celebrations are in store for the decade anniversary of Grum‘s debut album, Heartbeats. As 2020 simultaneously reaps new frontiers and old homecomings for the Glasglow producer, he revisits the seminal synth-pop project with a special twist. Fittingly entitled Heartbeats: Ten, the repackaged LP will be delivered via Grum’s newly-minted imprint, Deep State Recordings—calling for not one, but two milestone occasions.

Paying homage to his beloved 2010 record, Grum has set out to re-release Heartbeats with the addition of two new remixes from Tinlicker and Paul Thomas. With Tinlicker taking on “Through The Night” and Paul Thomas on duty for “Runaway,” both collaborators resurge Grum’s stylish retro cuts with progressive kicks.

The remix EP will be released August 7 exclusively on Beatport. Heartbeats: Ten will be out in full on August 14 via Deep State Recordings.
