Pete Tong goes digital with orchestrally infused 'Ibiza Classics' live show – Mix Session

Pete Tong is once again joining forces with Britain’s Heritage Orchestra for a rekindling of their famed Ibiza Classics show. The one-night event will take place at London’s O2 Arena on December 19, but will be brought to living rooms around the world via LIVENow’s streaming service.

The acclaimed show fuzes two ends of the musical spectrum in club music and orchestral compositions, with the pairing previously taking on seminal electronic releases like The Matrix’s “Clubbed To Death” and the iconic sax-house jam, “Man With The Red Face.” Tickets for the auspicious event, which will be the first performance of live music at the O2 Arena since March, can be purchased here for $16.

In a statement to the press, Pete Tong remarked,

“2020, our whole year has been lost, no tours, no shows, no exceptions! We can’t be together in clubs or concert arenas, BUT we can still put on a show for you. We’re going to perform from the floor of the O2 arena and broadcast it right into your homes. The rave will be back one day, but for now we are going to make the most of what we have!”
