Tomorrowland reveals virtual location for Around The World, Pāpiliōnem

Due to the inability to throw the usual two-weekend event in the fields of Boom, Belgium, Tomorrowland pivoted the 2020 festival online with its own digital soiree called Around The World. The European festival unveiled a heavy-hitting lineup last month that included David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Tale Of Us, Gryffin, NGHTMRE, and many more who will all perform across eight digital stages.

Ahead of the event, Tomorrowland has revealed that the “location” of Around The World will be on a virtual island called Pāpiliōnem. Ticket buyers will be able to navigate the island on their laptops, mobile devices, tablets, or desktops to visit the various stages and watch their favorite artists over the weekend of July 25 – 26, running from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. EST. Tickets are running fans about $15 for a day pass while full weekend passes are only a bump up to just over $20, which also includes access to all sets on demand for a week following the event. Fans can visit Tomorrowland’s website for more information.
