Ubbi Dubbi cancels co-hosted Halloween event with Freaky Deaky, unveils 2021 roster

With nearly all of 2020’s in-person event calendar wiped clean and pushed into 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Ubbi Dubbi and Freaky Deaky’s co-branded Halloween festival remained one of the few affairs of the current calendar year to sustain. That status has now changed, with the two-day Houston debut event, Ubbi Dubbi Meets Freaky Deaky, officially succumbing to what many would say was an inevitable fate: cancellation of the first iteration.

In the festival’s cancellation statement, Disco Donnie Presents confirms that refunds will be available to would-be attendees. Ticket holders can alternatively choose to roll over to Ubbi Dubbi’s 2021 dates, with an additional benefit package to be offered for those who take this route.

Expectedly, Ubbi Dubbi organizers are now shifting all efforts into the new year, as they confirm that the festival will head back to Dallas for two days from April 24 – 25, 2021. Along with the date announcement, Ubbi Dubbi coordinators have also revealed a first-class bill of artists per usual, with Illenium, Gryffin, i_o, Seven Lions, JOYRYDE, and more set to join them next spring.
