A proper collaboration between Trivecta and Jason Ross had been a long time coming. The two had already crossed musical paths twice before—once on “Pantheon” and once on the latter’s “Known You Before” remix—but when The Atlas tour came to a finish at Echostage this past December, they had something in their back pocket. And the debut meeting between Jason Ross and Trivecta has now come to life, with them taking to none other than Dancing Astronaut‘s 2021 Label of the Year Ophelia Records alongside German and Danish singer-songwriter duo RBBTS for “From Ashes to Love.”
Ross explained that something between him and Trivecta had been talked about for years. Coming from the best in the business when it comes to melodic bass, “From Ashes to Love” is packed with an assortment of dance, rock, and pop elements, exploding with RBBTS’ anthemic chorus as well as a riveting, bass-heavy second drop. With both Trivecta and Jason Ross having been longtime Ophelia Records mainstays—and RBBTS having featured on the label numerous times—”From Ashes to Love” seemed all but inevitable and it does not fall short in the slightest. The monumental release marks each of the three artists’ 2023 debut and serves as a faultless way to kick off their new year calendar. Stream it below.
