Vincent Pays Homage To His Golden Era Of Music With “Surrounded”

Vincent makes a powerful return to Dim Mak with “Surrounded,” a euphoric Progressive House anthem with a captivating lead and pulsating chord stacks.

Vincent reflects on the track’s inspiration; “Surrounded is a love letter to my golden era of dance music. It is an ode to incredible vocals, a melody you can belt out, and over the top energy. Dance music that gives you the euphoric feeling that it’s made to do. After much sonic theory crafting and figuring out where my sound would go next, this is the first step forward!”

With Vincent’s recent return to Dim Mak, he aims to tap into the beloved nostalgic feeling of old-school progressive house while putting a more timely spin and sound on it. “Surrounded” follows the release of “Falling Stars,” which the producer shared on Dim Mak about a month ago; both are the results of his efforts to make evocative music that still sounds current. This new music from Vincent comes freshly after his three-year mental health break after the pandemic, and his efforts to re-focus on his artistic project are paying off.

Vincent’s growth and lore in the dance music space for the last decade are unique. Previous releases of his like “I’m No Magician” have amassed over 16M streams without any official playlisting support from DSPs. Initially releasing music independently, his early bootleg remixes for Alison Wonderland and The Chainsmokers received millions of streams, becoming flagship songs played in their respective live shows. Vincent continued with no signs of slowing down, releasing official remixes for RL Grime and Gryffin and originals that would be featured in commercials for Adidas and Apple. These culminate in milestone performances at Hard Summer, Snowglobe, and Coachella.

Surrounded is available October 4 on Dim Mak.
