Keinemusik’s Kloud Series Rocks AlUla in Saudi Debut

On April 4, 2025, the Berlin-based music collective Keinemusik made their Saudi Arabian debut with their renowned Kloud event series at the UNESCO World Heritage site of AlUla.

This landmark event, powered by MDLBEAST, transformed the ancient desert landscape into a pulsating hub of electronic music, drawing fans from around the globe.

Comprised of DJs and producers Adam Port, &ME, Rampa, and Reznik, alongside visual artist Monja Gentschow, Keinemusik is celebrated for their eclectic fusion of techno, deep house, afrobeats, and hip-hop influences. Their mantra, “if you feel it, it’s art,” encapsulates their approach to music and performance. The Kloud series has previously captivated audiences in iconic locations such as Bali, London, Tulum, and Amsterdam. Bringing this experience to AlUla marked a significant milestone for both the collective and the region’s burgeoning cultural scene.

AlUla, with its dramatic canyons and rich history, provided an unparalleled backdrop for the event. The concert took place near the iconic Elephant Rock, a natural sandstone monolith that has become a symbol of the area’s geological wonders. Attendees were treated to a multisensory experience, where cutting-edge electronic music met the timeless beauty of the desert. The fusion of sound and setting created an atmosphere that was both otherworldly and deeply rooted in the natural splendor of AlUla.

The event was orchestrated by MDLBEAST, the Middle East’s premier entertainment powerhouse known for reshaping the region’s music scene through events like XP Music Futures, Soundstorm Festival, and Balad Beast. Their collaboration with Keinemusik underscored a commitment to bringing world-class performances to unique and historically significant locations. Rayan AlRasheed, Director of Operations & Artist Booking at MDLBEAST, expressed pride in the event’s success, stating, “To bring Keinemusik to a place as unique and historic as AlUla is a testament to our mission of blending global entertainment with the rich cultural heritage of the region.”

The concert attracted a diverse crowd, including electronic music enthusiasts, cultural aficionados, and travelers seeking unique experiences. The seamless integration of music and digital art against the backdrop of AlUla’s ancient landscapes offered attendees an unforgettable night. The event not only highlighted the universal appeal of electronic music but also showcased Saudi Arabia’s evolving cultural landscape and its openness to global artistic expressions.

Keinemusik‘s performance in AlUla is part of a broader trend of international artists seeking out unique and historically rich venues for their events. This approach not only provides audiences with novel experiences but also brings attention to cultural and historical sites, promoting tourism and cross-cultural appreciation. The success of the Kloud event in AlUla sets a precedent for future collaborations between global artists and culturally significant locations.
