Certified Lover Boy is approaching. Following his Lil Durk-assisted single, “Laugh Now Cry Later,” Drake has unveiled his forthcoming sixth studio album will land in January 2021. The Toronto rapper shared the news in conjunction with his 34th birthday celebration, deploying a brief video teaser for the hotly-anticipated occasion.
The teaser segment showcases several recreations of Drake’s iconic album covers including Take Care, Nothing Was the Same, and his most recent mixtape release, Dark Lane Demo Tapes. The clip concludes on a birds eye view of a never-before-seen graphic, imprinted on Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall.
Drizzy first noted a new full-length was in the works earlier this year in April, also disclosing the material was, “the most excited [he’s] been about an album in a long time.”
