If J. Worra isn’t on your list of women galvanizing the dance scene, then you need to update that list.
With her 2022 North American tour in full throttle, the native Chicagoan has taken her classic-house-meets-new-school-tech touch on the road, meeting with sold-out cities and major festivals alike. But before Worra toes the grounds of BUKU and Beyond Wonderland later this month, she’ll first be making her presence heard—and felt—from Brooklyn’s Elsewhere.
On March 18, Worra will temporarily loan her talents to the Bushwick venue, where she’ll joined by Remniqe and Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2021, Truth x Lies, whose studio is still smoking after the March 4 delivery of “Nothing Gonna Stop This” with Cloverdale.
Tickets to the stop are available here and per Worra herself, there’s only 50 left, so expediency is encouraged. Doors will open at 11:00 a.m. and won’t close until the event’s 4:00 a.m. curfew. A complete record of J. Worra’s upcoming North American tour dates, including festival appearances, can be found on her official website.
