Curaleaf Brand Enters Multi-Year Partnership with The Salt Shed

A multi-year agreement between Curaleaf Holdings, Inc., a major international supplier of cannabis consumer products, and The Salt Shed, Chicago’s new performance and community space created by 16 on Center, the group behind Thalia Hall, Empty Bottle, SPACE, and other venues, was announced. On August 2, some of the most well-known jazz musicians of the present, including Makaya McCraven, Sons of Kemet, and Nubya Garcia, will perform during the opening of the historic Morton Salt complex’s The Salt Shed.

As part of their collaboration, Grassroots and The Salt Shed will set up a permanent kiosk at the venue where concertgoers can learn more about cannabis and receive exclusive discounts to pre-order Grassroots goods for Curaleaf dispensaries. Less than a mile from the event is Curaleaf’s Weed Street dispensary (923 W Weed St, Chicago, IL 60642). Additionally, the “Show Your Stub” program enables visitors to enjoy exclusive discounts at all Curaleaf dispensaries in Illinois by presenting their Salt Shed proof of ticket purchase.

Grassroots, a company founded in 2014, is committed to supporting, developing, and honoring the cannabis movement while cultivating and manufacturing the finest quality cannabis products. Through the development of proprietary genetics and distinctive strains, the company was founded in Illinois with the intention of refining the art and science of cannabis growing. Following Curaleaf’s acquisition of Grassroots in 2020, its products are now offered in six states: Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
