Having past performances at renowned events like Coachella, Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, and official remixes for Skrillex, Linkin Park, Kaskade, amongst others, Dirtyphonics have proven their ability to captivate audiences worldwide and deliver unforgettable live experiences with their unique take on bass music.
Hailing from France, the duo are no strangers to paying homage to their heritage, especially with shows around their home country including Lollapalooza France, Rampage France, and even a Parisian bakery. Further highlighting a meaningful base behind their artistic expression and culture, in 2022, they sourced four french artists to remix their ‘What The French’ EP, while “Right Here, Right Now” draws inspiration from the foundational moments of their musical journey in France.
Steering from their accustomed heavy drum and bass styles, the duo revisited their French House roots, nodding to the genre that bloomed in the ‘90s when they first entered the music scene. “Right Here, Right Now” serves as an enticing glimpse of Dirtyphonics’ highly anticipated second album – a decade-long wait for fans. Dirtyphonics masterfully blend elements of disco and funk, introducing a captivating contrast that will enhance the album listening experience – a package that showcases the duo’s eclectic landscape through the journey of different tempos never heard before from the duo. The track is also primed as a compelling anthem urging listeners to celebrate the beauty of the present moment.
Dirtyphonics shares, “The title of the song is a reminder that it is really important to be in the present moment, away from social media and other daily distractions. This is exactly what our shows are about – leaving everything behind and being in the moment. “Right Here, Right Now” is definitively a straight up dance floor banger that encourages you to let loose and have a big smile on your face.”
The duo is opening for Jessica Audiffred on February 23rd at the Hollywood Palladium as special guests where fans can hear “Right Here, Right Now” live, with more headlining shows and festival slots to be announced in the new year.
