Durante Releases Remixes From His Debut Album ‘Enter’ Featuring Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Khen, Layla Benitez And More

Following the success of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs’ remix of ‘Ancora’, LA-based DJ and producer Durante releases the full remix package from his debut album, ‘Enter’.

Durante himself revisits the second single from his debut album, ‘Holding On’ featuring Nathan Nicholson. His rework infuses the track with percussion-laden grooves and a driving kick drum, transforming it into a dancefloor-ready rework.

Anjunadeep welcomes back Israeli DJ and producer Khen for a remix of the lead single ‘Hot Night’ featuring HANA. Since bursting onto the scene in 2016, Khen has released tracks on prominent labels such as Lost & Found, Bedrock, and Vivrant, and has toured extensively across South America, North America, and Europe. On his latest remix, Khen skillfully incorporates HANA’s vocals, adding evolving staccato synths and percussive grooves, an engagingly progressive style that showcases why he’s favored by heavyweights including John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, and Sébastien Léger.

New York-based Layla Benitez makes her Anjunadeep debut with a remix of ‘Holding On’. Integrating Nathan Nicholson’s vocals and the original piano breakdown, Layla layers in a driving bassline and meticulously crafted synths. After a standout Boiler Room set in 2021 and being named DJ Mag’s 2022 Future Star, she released her debut BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix this year, following support from Danny Howard and Pete Tong on the station.

Closing the remix album is Córdoba-based DJ and producer Sebastian Sellares. Sebastian first debuted on the label on the 2021 Anjunadeep Explorations 17 EP, and since went on to release his ‘Lullaby of the Seraphim EP’ on Anjunadeep, which has garnered over 500k streams. Recently, James Grant and Jody Wisternoff selected two of his productions to feature on Anjunadeep’s flagship compilation ‘Anjunadeep 15’. In his remix of ‘Holding On,’ Sellares combines a dark, driving bassline with an array of synths and soundscapes, complemented by Nathan Nicholson’s vocals.

‘Enter’ (Remixed) follows the April release of Durante’s debut album, which has amassed over 7 million streams and received airplay on SiriusXM Chill, SiriusXM Diplo’s Revolution, and BBC Radio 1. The album has been championed by esteemed DJs such as Pete Tong, MEDUZA, Joris Voorn, and John Digweed, and has garnered praise from Mixmag Italy, Forbes Magazine, and Acid Stag for Durante’s artistry.

‘Enter’ (Remixed) is out August 9th on Anjunadeep.
