George Floyd’s Daughter, Gianna, Is Now A Disney Shareholder

George Floyd’s daughter, Gianna, has been showered with undying support around the world following the execution of her father at the hands of Minneapolis, MN police on May 25. Now she is the newest Disney shareholder, thanks to Barbra Streisand.

The announcement was made via Instagram where, Gianna, 6, thanked Streisand for her generous donation. In the photo, Gianna is proudly holding the certificate, while thanking Barbra Streisand in her caption.

Many have stepped up to set up college funds and donate to Gianna’s education and financial future. Kanye West set up a college fund for Gianna, while also donating to the families of Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. In addition, a GoFundMe account dedicated to Gianna has raised over $2 million.

The death of George Floyd has re-ignited the flame in a continuous fight against racial injustice and systemic oppression. Gianna Floyd recognized her father’s impact in a powerful video.
