Justin Baldoni’s Pac-Man Movie in Trouble After Blake Lively Lawsuit

Justin Baldoni’s highly anticipated Pac-Man movie is now in doubt after his ongoing legal feud with actress Blake Lively has reportedly cost him several major directing jobs.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Baldoni’s legal troubles have already led to the loss of three major projects and put “hundreds of millions of dollars” at stake.

Legal Battle Threatens Baldoni’s Career

The lawsuit, filed by Lively, alleges that Baldoni created a hostile work environment during the filming of It Ends With Us. Among the claims, Lively accuses Baldoni of:

  • Showing her nude videos and images of women.
  • Discussing his pornography addiction in front of her.
  • Making inappropriate comments about her weight.
  • Derailing the agreed-upon marketing strategy for the film.

Lively also alleges that Baldoni and his PR manager, Melissa Nathan, conspired to damage her reputation through a targeted social media campaign. Her legal team has reportedly submitted 22 pages of text messages as evidence, where Baldoni’s publicist allegedly discussed ways to have Lively “buried.”

Pac-Man Movie No Longer a Priority

While details about the Pac-Man adaptation were scarce, THR reports that Baldoni was hoping to use the project as a fresh start and a way to distance himself from the controversy surrounding It Ends With Us. Now, with his career in jeopardy, sources close to the situation say Wayfarer Studios is reevaluating its relationship with Baldoni.

The fallout from the lawsuit could have significant consequences for the director’s future in Hollywood. Losing three major projects—including the Pac-Man film—suggests that the industry is already distancing itself from Baldoni.

Ryan Reynolds’ Role in the Dispute

Complicating matters further, Lively’s husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, has reportedly thrown his support behind her. The Deadpool star is known for his influence in Hollywood, and insiders speculate that his involvement could make it even more difficult for Baldoni to recover professionally.

With Lively’s claims gaining traction, and more details emerging, the damage to Baldoni’s career may already be irreversible.

What Happens Next?

As the legal battle continues, it remains unclear whether Baldoni will be able to move forward with any of his planned projects. The Pac-Man movie was already in the early stages of development, but with studio executives reconsidering their commitments, its future looks bleak.

The case is set for its first court hearing soon, and depending on the outcome, it could determine whether Baldoni has any path back into Hollywood’s good graces.

For now, it seems the Pac-Man film—along with Baldoni’s reputation—may be game over.
