Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s ‘Kids See Ghost’ LP Dropped 2 Years Ago Today

G.O.O.D. Music owned June 2018 with back to back releases of new music. On June 8th last year, Kanye West linked up with Kid Cudi for a 7-track project called Kids See Ghost. Kids See Ghost is also the name of Ye and Cudi’s duo. The album dropped on Kanye’s 41st birthday.

KSG was fully produced by Kanye West with features from Pusha T, Louis Prima, Ty Dolla Sign and Yasiin Bey. The 2018 release landed at #2 in its debut week with 142,000 album equivalent sales according to Billboard.

Cudi left Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music in 2013 saying at the time that he didn’t want Kanye to be “big brother” forever. Cudi dropped 3 albums with G.O.O.D. including the Man on the Moon series that went Platinum. Since leaving the label Cudi has dropped 3 albums through his independent label Wicked Awesome and Republic Records.
