Kingg Bucc Aims To Continue The Successful Legacy Of Miami Rappers

Florida continues to breed new talent in Hip-Hop. Throughout the years, the Sunshine state has introduced the world one successful artist after another. Kingg Bucc looks to fall right into place with that positive trajectory. He sites Miami legends such as Uncle Luke, Trick Daddy, Trina and Rick Ross as his influences.

In 2019, the Dade County native dropped his debut project Swiper Season. The albums features a diverse song selection, where Bucc shows off his multi-layered musical arsenal. Swiper Season begins with the 808s heavy title track followed by “Big Shot.” As listeners get into a head-bopping groove, Kingg Bucc switches the tempo with “Bad B***h Walk,” where he taps into his Haitian/Miami roots. He ends the project with a message to potential women of his future. On the song he raps:

“I don’t want no trap queen
Girl I need a swipey wifey”

Bucc ultimately wants his potential “Swipey Wifey” to match his vibe.

Now he is working to release the sequel, Still Swipin. Its first single is a high energy record featuring Memphis rapper, NLE Choppa. Both Bucc and Choppa enter into virtual universe in the “Turn Me Up” video to signify the prominence of gaming culture.

Kingg Bucc looks to build on the momentum of his debut project and his first single. He first came into his own as a rapper during his adolescence in school. Bucc was asked by a teacher to perform a song. From there, he went on to write his first rap and the rest was history. Music has helped Bucc to overcome his introverted fears.

“Battling depression and social anxiety…. I was one of them people back in the day, you know… very introverted,” he says. “You can move people with music, so I really got into it.”

He also speaks on the importance of having honest people in your circle. According to Kingg Bucc, he continues to ride with the same individuals he started his journey with due to their candid nature.

As he prepares to release Still Swiping at the top of 2021, you can expect more unique visuals from the Dada County rapper like the one below.
