Over All-Star weekend, Nike revealed the new court at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boys & Girls Club at the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago. The facility was completely renovated and will be the host location of the Nike All-Star Academy.
Days after the reveal of the new facility, the kids of the club were returned to the club for a surprise appearance by Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and Virgil Abloh. During their visit, the trio spoke on the importance of community building and why giving back is important. They would also judge a dunk contest with athletes from other Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago.
