The genre-hopping French electronic trio Oden & Fatzo return to Defected with ‘Tell Me What You Want’ alongside rising dance vocalist Poppy Baskcomb.
Best known for their platinum-selling hit ‘Lauren,’ the trio released their Defected debut ‘Lady Love’ in 2023 with London singer-songwriter Camden Cox, bolstering their UK presence with an intimate set at London’s DJ Mag HQ and major performances at Drumsheds and Ministry Of Sound.
Their diverse and bright electronic sound has also seen them play on global stages, including a highly anticipated livestream from their Cercle Festival set in May 2024, and receive key support from BBC Radio 1, KISS Dance, Capital Dance, Radio FG in France, and Triple J in Australia along the way. Their Defected smash ‘Lady Love’ then received a follow-up, RAW EP, showcasing the group’s harder, club-ready side with fellow Parisian THEOS and demonstrating a sonic range held by a select few in the industry.
Teased at their DJ Mag HQ stream in summer 2023, ‘Tell Me What You Want’ spotlights dance vocalist and songstress Poppy Baskcomb, a young talent hailing from Portsmouth who has worked with the likes of Tiësto, Sub Focus, Sonny Fodera, Jess Bays and more. Poppy’s engaging vocals deftly weave over Oden & Fatzo’s unique, floor-filling production, complete with classic French touch filter effects and a deliciously addictive bassline.
