Ray Volpe Unleashes Highly-Anticipated Bass Single “SEE YOU DROP”

Ray Volpe, one of the bass scene’s most in-demand producers, today, returns to Monstercat Uncaged with the addictive bass record, “SEE YOU DROP.”

With multiple accolades to his name, including the #1 most played Dubstep song of 2022, “Laserbeam,” and winning Electronic Dance Music Awards 2023’s “Best New Artist,” Ray Volpe has solidified his position as a staple artist in the electronic scene. His music is deservingly integrated into the sets of numerous renowned DJs, such as Skrillex, Afrojack, Chris Lake, The Chainsmokers, and Marshmello, who he collaborated with last year on “Old School.” He’s taken his live sets around the world from established festivals like Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, Nocturnal Wonderland, Rampage, Tomorrowland, 808 Festival, and Lost Lands, with more to be added on the horizon.

Ray made his solo debut on Monstercat last year with the festival-chanter “HAPPY SONG,” and followed it up with the anthemic “EAT SLEEP RAGE,” both featured on his multi-genre EP, ‘VOLPETRON ASCENDS.’ Last month, he wrapped his huge headline VOLPETRON ASCENDS tour, totalling nearly 17,000 tickets and selling out 13 stops, including Webster Hall in New York, Stereo Live in Dallas, The Ave in Philadelphia, Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, Believe Music Hall in Georgia, The Axis Club in Toronto, Blackbox Theater in Charlotte, and others. With 2023 under wraps, 2024 is bound to be another massive year for the VOLPETRON.

Enthusiastically embraced among the masses, “SEE YOU DROP” has rapidly secured its status as a massive crowd favourite, even before its official debut. This achievement stands as a testament to Ray’s pioneering work in ‘commercial dubstep,’ allowing playability from DJs of various genres. Heavyweights such as Illenium at SOFI Stadium, Excision, Sullivan King, Kayzo, and Kai Wachi, with his own bootleg, have significantly elevated the anticipation surrounding its release, while fervent fans have been chanting the beats during Ray’s live sets, notably during his opening slot for Excision at The Thunderdome at Tacoma Dome.

Ray Volpe shares, “I’m super excited for this song to come out finally. It’s been such a fun one to play out & has been making its rounds already in the live space. One thing I really love about this one is how it builds energy. It’s a constant build into something fun, and once you finally get there it feels like a party at that drop. I love how it feels very versatile too for a dubstep song, it’s something you can either mosh to, jump to, throw your hands up, etc and it works in all circumstances for how the drop and that little catchy pre drop is laid out. I tried to make it accessible that way and I think it worked perfectly!

Fans can catch Ray Volpe on Excision’s Nexus tour at multiple stops including Minneapolis at The Armory and Boston at MGM Music Hall, Paradise Blue in Cancun next month, and at Monstercat’s Tomorrowland stage in July.
