Electronic visionary Rezz has released her highly-anticipated edit of her hit ‘Edge’ out now via mau5trap.
Rezz has made her grand return to mau5trap with an evolutionary new version of her 2016 classic ‘Edge’. Reworking the original’s industrial stomper tones, this rendition of ‘Edge’ is eerier, darker, and resonates with the melodic hypnotics weaved throughout her recent album CAN YOU SEE ME?. Notching the pace with spiraling basslines and galactic toplines, Rezz’s 2024 version catapults ‘Edge’ eight years into the future, now honing sounds beyond its time, in line with Rezz’s forward-thinking bass era.

Originally released in 2016 as part of her The Silence Is Deafening EP, ‘Edge’ is one of Rezz’s most iconic tracks. Already popular amongst the electronic community, ‘Edge’ surged in 2022 when the song became part of a viral TikTok trend, soundtracking more than 1.7M videos on the platform.
