While fans patiently await SZA’s follow-up to 2017’s Ctrl album, the TDE songstress has been keeping the restlessness at bay with heavy-hitting singles that have been making an indubious impact as of late.
After releasing the track on Christmas day, SZA now returns with an official visual to accompany her “Good Days” selection. Previously, “Good Days” was cinematically previewed via a snippet within the “Hit Different” music video. Upon its release, a fan video was compiled to support the anticipated track. SZA also gave fans a live rendition of the cut via YouTube, but now Solana takes her place in the director’s chair for the official clip as she navigates a dream state to deliver on the introspective song.
“I’ve never been more scared and proud to be myself,” SZA penned on Instagram in conjunction with the video’s release. “Thank you to my entire team for constantly being patient and supportive. I love you all.”
The new clip finds SZA interpreting her role as “a plant living growing and dying .. also on shrooms.”
Keeping in pace with her “Hit Different” video, the end of “Good Days” is met with a snippet of what we assume to be the next single in the chamber, “Shirt.”
