Tekashi 6ix9ine has taken a break from internet trolling. Instead, he is tapping into his philanthropic bag. Although the rapper is renowned for his antagonizing antics, he balances it with acts of charity. He attempted to donate $200K to the No Kid Hungry organization earlier this month. The non-profit organization quickly rejected the generous gesture, releasing a statement explaining their reasoning as well.
“As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”
6ix9ine classified the organization’s rejection as cruel.
“@nokidhungry rather take food out of the mouth of these innocent children.”
Now is calling for the rest of New York rappers to stand up and donate to their city. While many rappers are claiming they are the King of the city, 6ix9ine is testing their gangster on the charity tip.
“Y’all do all the sh*t for New York, but actually put on for New York, said the “GOOBA” rapper. “Every rapper from New York, if you got $100K, I’ll match y’all $100K.”
We’ll see how many NY rappers respond to Tekashi 6ix9ine’s latest request.
