Just over a month after the release of their highly praised album Kiss and Forget, electronic music powerhouse WhoMadeWho is back with a remix of their collaborative track “Heartless” with Kölsch, reimagined by the talented Italian duo Fideles.
The remix, slated for release on October 18th, marks the first official remix of “Heartless” and continues the band’s streak of high-profile collaborations and accolades.
The Fideles remix of “Heartless” takes a track that blends the styles of WhoMadeWho and Kölsch into an effortlessly beautiful work that creates a calming atmosphere, and livens it up while staying true to its roots. The Italian duo replaces the gentle kick with a punchier, more dynamic beat, infusing the track with their signature grandeur and elevating it to new heights.

The Fideles remix joins an impressive roster of remixes from ‘Kiss and Forget’, including works by CamelPhat, Adam Ten, INNELLEA, and Mind Against & Dyzen. WhoMadeWho fans can look forward to more, with an upcoming remix by Alex Wann who provides a refreshing and vibrant revamp, infusing it with deep house elements. On top of that there is an official remix EP on the horizon.

We played this together at a show in Amsterdam where they sang it live. It was special. It was a real honour to be trusted to do this remix. I’ve been playing it out so much in the clubs and the reactions have been great so I am excited to put this out with the WhoMadeWho guys. It’s also a pleasure to have my name on there also with Kolsch who I’ve been a fan of for a long time. WhoMadeWho’s recent success extends beyond the studio. The trio clinched the “Best Organic House” award at the 2024 DJ Awards in Ibiza earlier this month, adding to their “Best Live Performer” accolade from the 2024 Beatport Awards in May. These honors, coupled with the release of Kiss and Forget, underscore WhoMadeWho’s unstoppable momentum.
In addition to their musical offerings, WhoMadeWho has unveiled a series of captivating music videos to accompany each track on ‘Kiss and Forget’. Directed by Berlin-based talent Thomas Kuhn with creative direction by Polina Vinogradova, these visual pieces form a kaleidoscopic journey through time, emotion, and human connection. The videos serve as a unique narrative tapestry, weaving together the album’s themes of nostalgia, eternal youth, and the ephemeral nature of relationships.
