YSL, Polo G & Conway The Machine Dominate This Week’s “Hit List” Playlist

The past week bore witness to a strong set of showings from hip-hop’s heaviest-hitters with new arrivals from the likes of Young Thug and the Young Stoner Life crew, Griselda Records’ Conway The Machine, and Moneybagg Yo among others.

With so much to mine, The Source staff took on the task of compiling the best entries to come of the most recent influx. On this week’s “Hit List,” look forward to appearances from the usual suspects with Polo G’s (now-No. 1) “RAPSTAR” accompanying YSL’s newly-viral “Ski” as obvious picks in a current catalog. Cuts that continue to outlast their release dates include Rod Wave’s “Street Runner,” Drake’s “What’s Next,” and Lil Baby’s “On Me.”

All the while, we make plenty of room for newcomers who serve as welcome guests in any rotation. Among them you’ll find Atlanta’s Kenny Mason sparring with Freddie Gibbs on “Much Money,” Brockton’s marquee Van Buren Records collective making a strong case for themselves on “Medic,” and west coast rep Kalan.FrFr in good company on the Mozzy-assisted “No Love.”

You can get into The Source’s “Hit List” playlist on Spotify and Apple Music.
