Portola Music Festival returns to San Francisco this September, bringing another stacked weekend of electronic music, left-field club sounds, live performances, and a few bookings you simply won’t see at every other festival. Taking over Pier 80 on September 26–27, 2026, Portola once again delivers a lineup built for serious music fans. With a roster featuring Robyn, Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, and many more, the festival promises to be a defining moment for the electronic scene.
With that much music packed into two days, conflicts are inevitable. These are five acts we’re making a priority at Portola Music Festival 2026:
Dog Blood
If there’s one set that carries true “you had to be there” potential, it’s Dog Blood. The collaborative project between Skrillex and Boys Noize returns to the stage for their first performance together in seven years. Their signature blend of electro, techno, and bass music makes this reunion one of the weekend’s most anticipated events.
Soulwax
There are DJ sets, and then there is Soulwax live. David and Stephen Dewaele have spent decades blurring the boundaries between electronic music, rock, and disco. Their live performances are legendary for their precision and intensity, making them a perfect match for the industrial backdrop of Pier 80.
Four Tet
Four Tet has become one of electronic music’s most unpredictable festival performers. Kieran Hebden’s ability to weave through house, techno, and garage while maintaining an intimate connection with the crowd ensures that no two sets are ever the same.
Overmono
Brothers Tom and Ed Russell, known as Overmono, have captured the essence of modern UK club music. Their productions combine emotional weight with hard-hitting breakbeats, creating a soundscape that feels both nostalgic and futuristic.
DJ Shadow
The Bay Area legend DJ Shadow returns to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his landmark debut, Endtroducing…... This performance serves as a tribute to one of the most influential sample-based records in electronic music history, making it a must-see for any true fan.
