From Struggles to Strength: ‘Forza’ Chronicles Don Fuego’s Personal Evolution

Don Fuego’s story begins with two friends, Corey and Mahdi, who met in middle school, bonding over their shared love for sports and mischief. Over the years, they took separate paths—Corey pursued professional snowboarding while Mahdi focused on his education and music. However, they came back together in 2020, driven by their passion for creating energetic dance tracks. This reunion led them to the après-ski scene in Colorado, where they quickly became known for their high-energy performances and DJ sets.

“Forza” stands out as a powerful release. The track opens with chants from Inter Milan supporters, setting an intense tone from the start. Its steady 128 bpm beat is layered with smooth melodies and a grounded bassline, creating a track that’s designed for peak dancefloor moments. The Italian word “Forza,” meaning “Go,” is more than a title—it becomes the anthem of the track, as the crowd chants “Go Go Go,” fueling the energy throughout. This atmosphere is what makes Don Fuego’s sets feel so infectious.

With over 230,000 streams and backing from major names like Zeds Dead, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Fuego’s presence is growing. Their music is signed to Smash Deep, Dimitri Vegas’ label, and they’ve collaborated with ANDREWBATES and Justin Park. Performances alongside ACRAZE, Walker & Royce, and Golden Features – all indications these guys are on the right path.
