Liondub, Tim Reaper, & Starkey Reveal Their Remixes For Nate Mars’ ‘In Time’ EP

Nate Mars stands out with his latest endeavor, In Time (Remixes). Building on the success of his In Time EP, Mars brings a refreshing twist with remixes by Liondub, Tim Reaper, and Starkey. Adding to the allure, he introduces “Parallelogram,” a new track that epitomizes his unique approach to drum and bass and UKG.

The collection kicks off with Liondub’s rework of “In Time.” This New York-based artist, a fixture in the global bass music scene, easily blends Jamaican Roots Reggae with UK Jungle and Dubstep. His version of “In Time” is a masterclass in slick, forward-moving drum and bass rhythms, setting a high bar for the rest of the remixes.

Tim Reaper steps up next with a sophisticated remix of “Starting Over.” Reaper’s remix is a technical marvel, showcasing his knack for integrating breaks and minimalistic vocal elements. This Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe nominee’s work is a reference to the golden age of jungle music.

Philadelphia’s Starkey takes on “To Kill A DJ” with his unique shake up of dub/reggae and UKG elements. This remix is a standout, merging Nate Mars’ original essence with Starkey’s distinctive style. Known for his innovative and genre-spanning music, Starkey continues to make waves in the electronic music scene.

Closing the collection is Mars’ new original, “Parallelogram.” This track is an example of the impressive skill level of Nate Mars and his ability to craft quality productions, featuring metallic percussion, fast-paced breaks, and deep basslines. It’s a fitting end to a collection that not only pays tribute to the roots of electronic music but also pushes its boundaries, much like the works of dance music pioneers.
