TATE SEDAR And P$YCHEDELIC Team Up For Summer Hit ‘Emotions’

TATE SEDAR, has teamed up with P$YCHEDELIC, via their summer anthem, “Emotions.”

“Emotions,” a post-EDM track three years in the making, showcases a fusion of funky riffs, dynamic basslines, and punchy 808 drums, reminiscent of the sounds of Noizu and Sage Armstrong. This song, born from TATE’s innovative blend of analog and digital instruments, captures the essence of how these two just meld together and have natural chemistry when it comes to working together. “Emotions” encapsulates their journey, highlighting the transformative power of their bond and the shared human experience reflected in their music.

In 2024, TATE embarks on an audacious new chapter with ‘post-EDM,’ a progressive style that melds analog and digital instruments. This evolution is deeply rooted in his childhood influences of Motown, disco, hip-hop, and rock. Since the start of the decade, TATE has garnered attention from top EDM blogs and radio, with notable features on EDM.com and coverage by Dancing Astronaut for “Find a Way,” a track that reflects on his career and has accumulated 104,000 music video views across platforms.

TATE’s artistry extends beyond music production. His official remix of “Hero” by Terrell Carter highlights civil rights issues, while his edit of Justin Bieber’s “Hold On” captures poignant footage aiding victims of the Russo-Ukrainian war. Born and raised in San Francisco, with formative years spent on both coasts of the US and in the UK, TATE discovered electronic music through his parents’ collection and the arcade game Dance Dance Revolution. Self-taught from age 10, he honed his skills at Point Blank Music School in London and focused his academic pursuits on music business, production, engineering, and songwriting.

Now residing in Hollywood, TATE is set to unveil his latest post-EDM creations, continuing his quest to find the perfect hoodie for his stage presence.
