CloZee, DJ Minx, and more curate Apple Music mixes in celebration of Pride Month

This Pride Month, Apple Music is presenting subscribers with a mix series featuring queer-identifying DJs around the world, including CloZee, DJ Minx, DJ Oshkosh, Doss, and more. Installments in the Pride Month mix series will roll out each Sunday of June. The individual mixes will come in tandem with artist interviews, as well as commentary that speaks to why the artists chose the specific songs that they did. CloZee, for instance, said she “selected songs that radiate positivity, love, and power,” when detailing the curative ethos behind her recent mix.

Her February collaboration with GRiZ, “Color Of Your Soul,” is the track she was “most excited to include” of the 19 that make up her mix, given “both [of us] being queer artists and the colorful message of the song.”

“When we play this live, it’s just a huge Pride moment, with rainbow lasers and visuals. It’s always super fun,” she explained.

In addition to Apple Music’s annual Pride Month mix series, the platform is also bringing forth Proud Radio with Hattie Collins, a serial that will include interviews from Princess Nokia, Orville Peck, FLETCHER, and more, as well as an editorial feature (“Our Spaces”) that seeks to spotlight the music and history of pivotal spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.

Celebrate Pride Month with Dancing Astronaut and Apple Music by listening to the latest mix series.
