DJ Hanzel delivers debut album ‘anti everything’

Against his very own wishes, DJ Hanzel has unfortunately released his debut LP anti everything. The mysterious and eternally flippant Hanzel has been forced under extended duress by his arch-nemesis Dillon Francis to share his collection of deep house cuts. Aligning with corporate interests, anti everything has been shared via One Deeper Records and features four previously released singles. Adding four brand new house songs to the LP, Hanzel dives into a multitude of styles. “Be the Light” and “Oh Girl” are synth-heavy bass house cuts, while “Pull Up” is a minimal tech-house energizer with infectious lyrics, and “I Lose My Mind” draws influence from deep melodic house.

Comparing himself to the great Beethoven, Hanzel expressed that only he “understands his music as a perfect theory and to hear it aloud would snuff out the light of my soul. But please, do not let my pain stop you from streaming it on your iPod telephones.” Even though Hanzel would prefer you not to stream his work of art, anti everything is the perfect collection for a dark and sweaty club night. With a fast-approaching Los Angeles club show on the horizon, Hanzel will surely take the crowd one deeper. An extremely rare performance, let alone club show, tickets are still available here.
