Edinburgh’s revamped Connect Music Festival locks in The Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, Bonobo, and more

Connect Music Festival returns to Edinburgh, Scotland after 14 years with a massive lineup including some of dance music’s finest, most venerated forces. Festival CEO and Organizer, Geoff Ellis, explained the reboot of the 2007 and 2008 Connect Music Festival will share many of the same qualities as its original production such as “the music, entertainment, food and drink programmes.” The event will kick off the end of the summer festival circuit, running August 26 – 28 at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre.

Headlining Saturday on the Grand Parade Stage will be The Chemical Brothers, bringing their signature big-beat sound and live performance to Edinburgh. Additional artists performing at the inaugural festival include Massive Attack holding down the first night’s headlining duties, Black Coffee, Jon Hopkins, Bonobo, Erol Alkan, and more.
