Eminem feeds Detroit's healthcare workers with cups of famous Mom's Spaghetti

Eminem is stepping up and doing his part to help healthcare workers by donating cups of Mom’s Spaghetti to employees at the Henry Ford Health System. Of course the term “mom’s spaghetti” originated from Eminem’s Grammy Award-winning single “Lose Yourself” featured in his film 8 Mile. The famous line reads, “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.” Eminem opened a pop-up shop in 2017 that sold the beloved pasta dish and inspired merchandise, and Mom’s Spaghetti has been an exclusive festival food item ever since.

Keeping the same pun energy, Henry Ford Health System posted a thank you to Shady on Instagram captioned,”Our #HealthcareHeroes ‘lost themselves’ in the delicious Mom’s Spaghetti donated by Detroit’s very own, @eminem. Thank you for providing a special meal for our team members.”

During the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, seeing celebrities do their part to benefit our healthcare workers is a great morale boost. Hats off to Eminem, and the many other artists, making these charitable donations.
