Pioneer officially unveils the CDJ 3000

Pioneer DJ has announced the launch of its flagship multiplayer, the CDJ-3000. The new model follows in the footsteps of the CDJ-2000NX2, a top music player of choice from industry leading DJs such as Honey Dijon, Peggy Gou, and David Guetta.

Among the CDJ-3000’s many new features, the new MPU processor is among the most impressive, making it the most advanced DJ player available. Further, the MPU’s processing power provides Pioneer with the capacity to introduce more features in future updates. The system also allows for a better UX, including greater speed when loading tracks and hot cues.

Other additions include a new bigger, higher resolution nine-inch touch screen, with a intuitive user interface that displays the playhead position and reference album artwork, added controls, shortcuts, and preview options, enabling effortless and rapid track selection.

In 1994, Pioneer launched the world’s first flat-top CD DJ player, the CDJ-500, and iterations thereafter have circled the club and festival scene as a top-performing music player as music moved from vinyl to CD to digital.

The CDJ-3000 is available now for approximately $2,500. Learn more about the new hardware here. To use the CDJ-3000 with rekordbox, users will want to  update to the latest version of the software. To play tracks from their iPhone, musicians should update to the latest version of rekordbox for iOS. See the CDJ-3000 below.
