Space Ibiza to return in 2022 with club, bar, and restaurant

Renowned as one of the best nightclubs in the world, Ibiza‘s flagship venue, Space, will re-open its doors to the White Island with a new bar, restaurant, and club night in 2022.

Space Ibiza owner Pepe Roselló revealed that he will open a musical themed restaurant and bar, Space Sun Beach, in the sunset Ses Variades area of Sant Antoni, inside the Posta del Sol Building. The seafront restaurant will pay homage to Spanish DJ José Padilla who passed away last year.

Roselló vows to keep “the spirit of Space” alive with the return of Ibiza’s Sundays at Space club nights which originally ran from 4PM until 6AM in the morning. No confirmed DJs or venues have been announced until “everything has been clarified and signed.” However, fans will likely see Carl Cox returning for his legendary residency.

Since closing its doors in 2016, Roselló announced in May the club’s plans to return by next summer. With Ibiza easing its COVID-19 restrictions, superclubs such as Amnesia Ibiza, who recently hosted its annual opening and closing parties while operating at a 75% crowd capacity, are returning to the scene. Those traveling into the island can expect to show their vaccine passports or Digital Green Certificates, a method that ensures that tourists have been either fully vaccinated, or recently tested negative for COVID-19.
