Tomorrowland reflects on first festival in three years with new documentary, ‘We Are Tomorrow’

After three long years, Tomorrowland made its highly anticipated return over three weekends in 2022. To celebrate the year’s theme of Reflection of Love, Tomorrowland partnered with Amazon Music up for a fittingly named documentary, “We Are Tomorrow.” With the COVID-19 pandemic in the rearview mirror, the people of Tomorrow finally had the opportunity to experience the trifecta of dance music, community, and love on the scene’s biggest and best stages.

The 24-minute documentary—directed by Wim Bonte—was able to capture the deeper meaning behind Tomorrowland’s return from multiple angles. In 2015, world-renowned DJ Topic first attended Tomorrowland as a fan before eventually making his mainstage debut in 2022. A heartwarming story also came from Kenya, where business owner Vicky Tah arrived at Tomorrowland just a short time after her husband’s tragic passing. Other angles presented throughout the short film come from Master Chef Gaggan Anand as well as Belgian dancer Kelly De Clercq.
