Being the previous angsty teen that I used to be, Underoath was at all times a favourite mine. Now that I’m an grownup (and solely barely much less angsty) Underoath stays a nostalgic favourite and a band whose albums I return to regularly. So when one my new favorites within the bass world, KAYZO, introduced his collaboration with the group, I used to be as excited as you may count on. And the brand new monitor, “Wasted Space,” definitely doesn’t disappoint.

The dubstep heavy-hitter unveiled the tune immediately as his newest enterprise into the electronic-rock collision experiment. His sensible rework Papa Roach’s traditional “Last Resort” sounded surprisingly seamless and pure, and his earlier single “FAKE FAKE FAKE” with Italian emo rockers xo unhappy packed an emotional punch. “Wasted Space” proves KAYZO to be on the forefront this new genre-bending development. Says KAYZO, “This is a head-on collision sonic frequencies and sounds from completely different sides the musical world. This is true experimentation in its rawest type.” I couldn’t agree extra.

The monitor combines the 2 types completely and makes use of Underoath vocalists Aaron Gillespie and Spencer Chamberlain’s dueling singing and screaming vocal types to boost the monitor and make it as hyped and heavy as attainable, with a drop that's unattainable to not headbang to. “KAYZO is tremendous enthusiastic about music and this monitor and that’s why we're so, so enthusiastic about it,” says Underoath on the monitor. “It’s refreshing lately and on this time see somebody as excited as he's about music.”
