Don Diablo to address United Nations alongside Pope Francis as part of World Environment Day initiative – Mix Session

In a noble effort to combat climate change, in partnership with Justdiggit, Hexagon founder Don Diablo will join Pope Francis and other world leaders such as Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan, Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkelin, and more in addressing United Nations as a part of World Environment Day.

In partnership with Justdiggit, the Dutchman will debut his new single with Ty Dolla $ign “Too Much To Ask,” calling artists to action with his #STREAMTOREGREEN initiative. All profits from the single will be donated to aid environmental work for Justdiggit, which seeks to “inspire and educate smallholder farmers with simple techniques that will enable them to regreen their land.” As stated by UNEP Coordinator of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration Tim Christopherson,

“During the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, it will be World Environment Day every day for the next 10 years, by bringing back nature from the peaks of mountains to the depths of the sea. But it also includes the many small actions everyone can take, every day: growing trees, regreening our cities, rewilding our gardens or cleaning up trash alongside rivers and coasts. Is it too much to ask? By listening to our favorite music, we can get inspired to regreen mother nature with #GenerationRestoration.”
