Insomniac is launching a new record label “dedicated to bringing you the best in techno, house, and underground sounds,” Factory 93 Records. Factory 93 has long been a sub-brand of Insomniac, but until now it has focused its efforts on live events. Factory 93 Records has not announced what its inaugural release will be.
The new imprint will be the third record label under the Insomniac umbrella, joining Insomniac Records and the newly minted Lost In Dreams. Factory 93 will continue hosting concerts and festivals, but now will begin releasing tracks in accordance with its brand ethos. In another first for the brand, Factory 93 is hosting their debut Skyline festival on Memorial Day weekend, featuring Blond:ish, Lee Foss, Maceo Plex, Nicole Moudaber, The Martinez Brothers, Anabel Englund, Spencer Brown, and more.
