It was only a matter of time before John Summit would announce his own record label or event brand. Now, with Off The Grid Records, he’s done both. Seemingly booked for every major music festival in the world this year, Dancing Astronaut’s 2021 Breakout Artist of the Year Summit’s meteoric ascent continues its steep upward trend in 2022, and an expansion of his brand was bound to happen sooner or later. Without revealing too much, Summit described on social media the new imprint as, “all things house [and] techno.”
Celebrating the launch of the new label and events brand, Summit brought the ruckus at a March 26 Miami Music Week showcase, officially marking the inception of the new imprint. With no shortage of momentum behind him, Summit is primed to have a stellar follow-up to his breakout year, and now with a new expansion of his brand, the burgeoning tech and house force is positioned for an even bigger 2022. What’s more, in the studio, the globetrotting young producer continues to keep the pedal to the floor, recently coming off of “Sun Came Up,” “Human,” and a long-awaited fan-favorite ID officially released as, “La Danza.”
