Kygo has mastered the art of designing an album that fulfills all assumptions drawn from its title. After a healthy content delivery a week prior in his briefing of the Golden Hour release date and 18-track track list as well as the album’s OneRepublic collaboration, Kygo isn’t taking his foot off the gas ahead of May 29. “The Truth” arrives as his third album’s newest single, with Kygo tapping Valerie Broussard for vocal contributions on the album’s opener.
“The Truth” trails the release of Kygo and Broussard’s joint venture from 2019, “Think About You” and had been highly-anticipated among fans since the “Higher Love” producer began teasing the track at the beginning of May. The rationale behind the sixth and final Golden Hour release being appointed as the album opener becomes more than evident as it faultlessly convinces once more that Kygo has some of his greatest work lying ahead.
