After handling label-opening duties for Insomniac‘s Lost In Dreams (LID) with the Nevve-assisted “Whole Life” in late February, Kaivon has set forth a melodic new anthem via LID, “Dream.” In sync with LID’s February installation, Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella verbalized his vision for the imprint, expressing his hope that it would “open up a new world of future bass, melodic dubstep, and vocal-driven dance music.” Judging by “Whole Life” and its successor, LID has done just that, with Kaivon seamlessly fitting the label’s bill.
Merging his classic future bass sound with the captivating vocals of Sarah de Warren, the connoisseur of rhythms dives into a synth-driven escapade that listeners can soon experience live at Lost In Dreams Festival in Las Vegas. The festival, to be held from September 4 and 5, will include melodic dance music’s most essential purveyors including Kavion, as well as one of Mix Session‘s Artists to Watch in 2021 Nurko, Dancing Astronaut‘s Breakout Artist of 2020 Moore Kismet, Seven Lions, SG Lewis, and many more.
