In a spirit of giving in line with the upcoming November 26 holiday, the masterminds who brought us both iterations of Digital Mirage this year have announced plans to present another virtual affair: Digital Mirage Friendsgiving.
Co-hosted by Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade, Digital Mirage Friendsgiving will spread performances from more than 20 of dance music’s finest across November 27 and 28. Tiësto, The Glitch Mob, Louis the Child, and NGHTMRE and ZHU, who will rub shoulders during a back-to-back set, are just some of the talents to top the Friendsgiving ticket.
Other featured acts include Nitti Gritti, Loud Luxury, Shallou, WAVEDASH, Ookay, BLVK JVCK, and WHIPPED CREAM, among others. Of note, NGHTMRE and ZHU will not singularly shoulder back-to-back duties; Tchami and Dr. Fresch will also join the collaborative party with a set from the Dark Knight’s own BatCave.
After raising more than $300,000 in donations for Sweet Relief Musicians during Digital Mirage and additional funds for Equal Justice Initiative and Color of Change during Digital Mirage 2.0, Proximity and Brownies & Lemonade will philanthropically focus Digital Mirage Friendsgiving on Plus1 and the National Independent Venue Association‘s respective COVID-19 relief funds. Although the virtual festival will be presented to viewers free of charge, those who tune in will have the opportunity to donate to the worthy causes.
