One of the UK’s premier summer festivals, Reading & Leeds, has officially canceled its 2020 event due to the global COVID-19 crisis.
Scheduled to take place over the weekend of Aug. 28-30, this year’s Reading & Leeds lineup boasted an eclectic and power-packed assortment of artists including headliners Rage Against The Machine, Stormzy, and Liam Gallagher along with undercard standouts Run The Jewels, Migos, MK, Gryffin, Solardo, Sonny Fodera, and more.
In their public statement, the festival noted that the organizers would be unable to put on the event fans would expect and look forward to given the hurdles brought on by current pandemic. The announcement also details that ticket purchasers will be receiving refunds or can transfer their tickets to the 2021 edition next year.
