Amid the ever-changing challenges that COVID-19 presents, Arizona-based promoter Relentless Beats has stayed one step ahead. While it may be a change from the packed club shows and massive festivals that Relentless Beats has hosted over the years, its latest venture—throwing socially distanced, in-person events—represents its commitment to changing the current live concert experience for the better.
Hosted on Relentless Beats’ own Rawhide Event Center grounds, the brand’s new series of “pod concert experiences” has brought fans back to the stage to see their favorite artists in a safe and spacious environment. Each pod allows a maximum group of eight attendees and uses a gated 8 by 10 foot section, providing an ample amount of space for a private dance floor while keeping six feet of distance from other surrounding pods. Concessions and merchandise can be ordered through an online system that delivers directly to fans, reducing the amount of movement outside of the pod and keeping groups in their own quarters for the duration of the event.
Just in time for Halloween weekend, Relentless Beats has curated a three-night run of its “Ritual” pod shows from October 30 – November 1, bringing in a devilish medley of bass and house artists for each show. Friday’s show brings bass to the forefront with spooky sets from Borgore and Monxx to celebrate Halloween Eve, followed by a night full of petrifying performances from headliners Party Favor, Deorro, and Wuki to close out the haunting holiday precursor.
In Relentless Beats’ latest announcement, dance music’s bird-beaked manifesto Claptone was declared the weekend closer. However, the dance diversion doesn’t stop with Claptone’s set. Following his stint at Relentless Beats’ Halloween run, Subtronics is slated to play a string of ensuing Relentless Beats shows from November 6 – 7, bringing friends Level Up, Boogie T, and Dirt Monkey to accompany him on the two-night stretch. Tickets for Relentless Beats’ upcoming concerts are available for purchase in groups of five, with the ability to add three additional people at the door.
To kick off the celebrations, Mix Session has teamed up with Relentless Beats to give away a pod concert experience to two lucky winners. One victor will see Borgore and Monxx on October 30, and the other, Subtronics on November 7. Enter below for your chance to win.
